On the Astrophysiological Implications of This Pulp-Novel-Set-to-Music
The story of The Empire of the 4 Moons needs no introduction here. Enko Landmann's novel cycle is regarded as a classic of utopian literature and the struggle of the conglomerate of the 4 Moons for a future-oriented autonomy against a rundown decadence of the Reflectors of Bycicl could be regarded as common property in the cultural memory of Europe.
But that story about the heroes who set out from the provinces to establish and champion the provincial realm as a source of general social progress did not come out of nowhere. Landmann's tireless research over the past decades provided the very real basis for the famous epic of science-fiction. Landmann's pioneering ideas became accessible to all, for example, in his non-fiction works The Cork Oaks of Kerpen or the Fuel Cells Alpha-Zetis (1974) and Sound - Space - Cosmos - Boisterous (1977, translated into several world languages from 1978 onwards. The latter work also established Landmann's axiom, now firmly entrenched in astro-research: "Any sufficiently advanced music is indistinguishable from magic." With the help of this axiom not only explanations for the phenomenon of the East-Westphalian Dwarf Stars came into view, but in Landmann's thinking the spectrum of the axiom also inspired the fable of The Empire of the 4 Moons.
Now The Empire of the 4 Moons is finally extended to the level of auditory perception, which is already implicitly present in the source of inspiration. Through the long-lasting and intensive cooperation of the musicians with Enko Landmann an epochal milestone of pulp-novel-set-to-music has been developed, which not only confirms the Landmann-axiom in the vibrations of its frequencies, but also lifts the visionary power of the provincial-utopian social reflection into a further sphere. Quite in accordance with the master's motto: Enko Landmann has already answered tomorrow's questions the day before yesterday.
